BEAMS & COLUMNS is a component of SteelLOGIC® that works within AutoCAD® to create the most dynamic cost effective steel detailing package available today. Beam and column details of any rolled shape can be created very quickly by selection from a collection of menus and by responding to prompts from the computer. The system acts as an electronic drafting table for a structural steel detailer and will respond with a drawing as fast as the detailer can tell it what to do.
Differences in detailing presentation are recognized with a variety of beam billing and dimensioning systems are available.
The system creates a detailing environment and an experienced detailer can create drawings as fast as he can think. Anything that can be fabricated can be detailed within this system. A bill of material system allows you to create consolidated shop cutting lists and summaries with all fitting marks.
